This shotgun embody Browning’s natural powerful shotguns with sweeping, elegance and reliability. The Browning arms currently has 8 Maxus shotguns in production and dozen in very limited production. They vary their stocks with beautiful matte black polymer, deco gloss walnut and camouflaged polymer. Some of them are combine classic styling and receiver engraving with fiber optic sights, on the other hand other models have camouflage, bead sights.

While options flourish on finish and the materials, a typical Maxus has two to three barrel lengths of 26”, 28” or 30”. The chambers can be either 3” or 3.5” in length. Additionally, weights increase by just one ounce per two inches. They are thus are 6 pounds 15 ounces, 7 pounds and 7 pounds 1 ounce for the three different lengths mentioned above.

Now regardless of model or barrel length, the length of pull is 14 ¼”, the drop at comb is 1 ¾” while drop at heel is 2”. Magazine capacity is 4 2 ¾”, shells bringing overall capacity to 4+1. The arcs get progressively shorter and lower from back to front sight as the rib moves toward the barrel.
